Alice is the Digital Engagement Lead at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, leading the content and social media strategies for the company.
Prior to joining Prudential, Alice was the Regional Marketing Lead of why innovation!, a digital transformation consultancy focusing on business innovation, Agile adoption and human-centric design. Overseeing regional marketing and communications in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai, Alice energizes the team with passion for branding, collaboration and creativity. She also actively practices Agile marketing and design thinking approaches during campaign creation processes and always thrive for continuous innovation and improvement.
During her past working experience, she has worked as Marketing Manager for VC-backed edutech start-up VivaLing, where she led market expansion in both Singapore and China. Back in 2010, she started off her career in communications as a Special Reporter for Lian He Zao Bao, the largest Chinese newspaper in Singapore. She also had time with a public relations agency where she handled some of the biggest tech accounts including Tableau, MediaMath, Commvault and Cloudera, supporting them with a variety of responsibilities such as media pitching, by-line development, social media content and events.
Alice is also a public speaker, a gender-equality advocate and an active community builder. She founded her non-profit organization Mama on Palette to bring in arts to mothers' lives, gaining over 500 members in her community. She has organised many events, including workshops, play dates and talks to raise awareness towards arts for women. As an Agile marketing practitioner, she spoke at Digital Divas 2019, Academy Xi Growth Marketing forum and Power PR panel and was recently appointed as a Smart Nation Ambassador by Prime Minister Office to speak at the Smart Nation Family Fiesta in December. Alice recently won the Women in Marketing Global Awards as "The One to Watch" in 2019.
